Ultrawomen is a campaign that I created to further encourage women in the realm of outdoor sports / recreation. After a deep conducted research on women in ultra sports such as, ultra running, ultra swimming, and ultra biking, I found that women are more likely to out-preform men the longer the distance is. I did, though, also find that women only make up for 20% of the participation in such races, due to the fact that most of them are catered towards men. This campaign intends to change the gender gap in the realm of ultra sports in the outdoors.

Ultrawomen is a bold campaign created to empower women in the world of ultra-endurance sports. It was designed to challenge the longstanding male-dominated narrative by celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of female athletes. Through compelling storytelling and striking visuals, the campaign aims to shift perception and inspire more women to see themselves in the ultra space—not as outliers, but as leaders. It’s a call to reimagine who belongs in these sports and to create a more inclusive and visible future for women athletes.
To bring this vision to life, the campaign paired branded performance apparel with large-scale outdoor advertising in high-traffic urban settings. Murals, billboards, and transit takeovers sparked public conversation and made a bold statement: women in ultra sports are here, and they’re thriving. The apparel extended that reach, turning supporters into advocates and creating a sense of shared identity and purpose. Together, these touchpoints created a movement rooted in visibility, representation, and meaningful cultural change.
